BTC's Win Streak Reaches Nine As Gold Cools Off

A quiet session outside of crypto, which kept doing exactly what it's been doing all week — nine straight winning closes and counting.

Bitcoin has not lost a trade since Tuesday. BTCUSDm closed its ninth consecutive winner last night, seven of them via the profit-lock mechanism rather than a clean take-profit — a sign the pattern the model is trading right now tends to peak early and give back ground fast, and the lock is doing exactly the job it was built for: banking the middle of the move instead of watching it round-trip to nothing.

Gold told a different story. XAUUSDm spent most of the session drifting inside a narrow band, never quite reaching the volatility the model needs to justify a wider stop. Two setups fired late in the day; both closed for small, unremarkable gains. Nothing wrong with that — a quiet instrument is just a quiet instrument, and forcing size into a flat market is how the account gives back what a real trend earns it.

Seven of BTC's last nine wins closed via profit-lock, not take-profit — the model is banking the middle of fast moves rather than waiting for a target that this pattern rarely reaches.

EURUSDm and GBPUSDm stayed mostly on the sidelines — both symbols saw setups that didn't clear the confidence floor, which is exactly the outcome you want from that filter on a session with no real catalyst behind it. ETHUSDm continues to build its sample size slowly; still too thin to draw a conclusion from, and we're not going to pretend otherwise just to fill a paragraph.

What we're watching next

Nine in a row is a streak worth naming, not a pattern worth trusting blindly — the circuit breaker is still watching for the reversal the same way it watches for anything else. If BTC's win rate on this exact setup starts slipping, tomorrow's recap says so plainly.

This recap is generated from the model's own closed-trade log and reviewed before publishing. Every figure above is sourced, not estimated — see the full track record for the underlying data.
