31 trades closed today: 20 wins, 11 losses, 64.5% win rate. On win rate alone it looks like a good day. The account finished at −$20.42 because the shape of the wins and losses didn't match — eleven of the twenty wins were profit-lock exits in the $2 to $17 range, while several of the losses ran the full stop-loss distance at $52–$62 each. It takes roughly six or seven small locked wins to offset one full stop, and today's stops outnumbered that math.
The clearest example: a BTCUSDm short opened at 75605.77, held nearly six hours, touched a real peak of only +$3.58, then reversed all the way to a full stop at −$61.83. The peak never came close to reach a profit-lock trigger — there was nothing to bank before the trade turned. It's the same pattern the desk flagged in yesterday's recap, on a different symbol.
By symbol, the split was stark. GBPUSDm went 5-for-6 for +$42.65 and XAUUSDm went 5-for-6 for +$86.21 (helped by one clean +$93.72 take-profit) — both symbols simply didn't get stopped out much today. EURUSDm was the opposite: 1 win against 2 losses, but those two losses (−$54.18 and −$37.45) put the symbol at −$85.51 on just 3 trades. BTCUSDm closed 9 wins to 3 losses — a 75% win rate — and still finished at −$42.44, because the 3 losses were full-size stops and most of the 9 wins were small locks. ETHUSDm went 0-for-4, its worst day logged so far.
Nothing about today's mechanics had changed yet — the profit-lock trigger was still landing in the same $8–$10 range regardless of trade size, the exact gap identified after yesterday's session. That fix hadn't shipped to a live-traded hour yet at this point.
